Title: Unloaded Bike. Hours: 3 Cost: $0.00
Work Descrption:

After a few months of anticipation, the bike arrived. My brother-in-law and I decided to try and get it to run... Placed battery in machine and it did turn over.. Cleaned points and did get spark... Took off air filter cover and noticed that carb was home to a mouse.

Cleaned carb and also cleaned up front turn signals. Bike needs a lot of cleaning.. Hopefully cleaned carb will start it up...

Title: Got it running!Hours: 3 Cost: $0.00
Work Descrption:

Took carb off again and re-checked all ports after reading the manual... A few jets were clogged... Still have a clogged accelerator pump passage, unable to remove jet... Will have to come up with a solution... Let it run and drove it up and down the driveway, seems to run well, digital gear readout is working...

Title: Rebuilt purchased carbHours: 2 Cost: $0.00
Work Descrption: Rebuilt the carburetor I had purchased from ebay. It was not that bad, the usual hardened gas in the bowl. Soaked it in the carb cleaner bucket. Removed all of the jets first. After soaking blew out all of the ports. Just took the jets I had cleaned from my original carb and used those. It started up fine and ran OK. Still needs some tuning. Idles nice.Boy, it really runs hot, those pipes a super hot.

Tested oil injection pump by taking line off of carb and plugging carb hole. Started bike and the oil was pumping out, will stop running pre-mix.

Cleaned some more rust off of chrome.
